The two blocks back to the hotel were a slow beach walk so Shawn could finish his Corona. Drew had forgotten his. Shawn’s hand in Drew’s was miraculous—his skin was soft but calloused on the palm and weather worn from salt and sun. Drew loved it—he couldn’t wait to feel the rest of Shawn. “Your room or mine?” Drew asked as soon as the elevator doors closed behind them. The front desk staff had ignored Drew and Shawn strolling in, holding hands, then practically running through the lobby to the lift. “Not mine. I’m rooming with Jay,” Shawn said.
