Dee pushed through the crowd and Drew followed her to the bar. Drew asked for a glass of iced tea and the glass came garnished with a wedge of pineapple. He wasn’t going to drink alcohol because the last thing he wanted to do was get smashed and wake up hung-over, he needed his all for tomorrow. “Not drinking anything, mate?” Shawn sidled up to the bar, leaning forward between Drew and Dee. The bartender noticed Shawn immediately. Shawn asked for an iced tea too. “Neither are you,” Drew observed. He shook a packet of cane sugar and tore it open. “Not before a semifinal.
