More then just friends

Chapter 3

New Life New Day New Place

I woke up feeling better then I thought I would seeing that I slept on the floor.

I had to go shopping for furniture today.

I get dressed and ready to go out.

I get into my car and before I can start my car I hear a Knock on my car window. Its Lucy.

Lucy: "Good morning and where are you going?"

Natty: "I'm off to go shopping for furniture for my house I have nothing not even a bed."

Lucy: "Do you mind me tagging along and have some company?"

Natty: "I would love that you can help me pick somethings out."

She gets into the car and we drive into town. She points out a little antique shop. We stop in front of the shop and get out and she walks into the shop with me.

I look around and my eyes fall instantly on the most beautiful four poster bed. I also see a magnificent dinning room table. And a chest of drawers all of them made out of the same wood I'm inlove with them. I walk to the owner of the shop her name is Elizabeth. I tell her what I wanted and her face lights up. She tells me that the table has eight matching chairs.

I pay for my new furniture and I'm really excited. Elizabeth tells me she will ask her grandson to bring my furniture to my house and I thank her.

Outside I tell Lucy that I needed a matress and chairs for the living room. She points out a shop across the road. We walk towards jt together and go inside.

I walk to the owner and ask him where the matresses are, he points to the back of the shop. I try every matress to find the perfect one. I settle for a firm but soft one. And I go looking for Lucy I find her sitting on a love seat in the middle of the shop. It's my favourite colour a soft red, and it has matching chairs that go with it. I sit next to her and tell her she just found my new living room set. She smiles at me and winkes.

I look around seeing if I like anything else and find the cutest coffee table its completely glass but I love it. I go to the owner and tell him everything I want and he draws up the papers. I pay him and he tells me that they will deliver later today. I walk out of the shop and I'm getting into this. Next up I needed towels and everything needed for a kitchen and bedroom.

Lucy takes me to there supermarket. I get everything I need I find the cutest bedspread. Curtains that match. Softest towels I've ever felt and I even bought myself some slippers. I was all set to make my house a home.

I get back and Lucy helps me unpack everything we bought for me. She helps me pack away what we can. I wash the curtains and sheets while we wait for my furniture to be delivered.

I made us some coffee and we set up my new Tv. I bought a small 40" LCD flat screen. I bought a dvd player for while I wait for my cable to be installed. We where hanging my curtains when we heard a truck coming. It was my furniture, I ran to the door Lucy laughing at me.

Mike turned out to be the only delivery guy in town , the old lady from the antique shops grandson. So I was getting everything all at once. He and his friend even put everything where I wanted them.

Lucy helped me make my new bed and afterwords she helped me cook dinner so we went next door and got her Dad to come join us.
