Chapter 1

Adriana’s Pov

Never thought I would come back here. But here I Am. It’s crazy how I used to love here.

This city used to be my favourite place I remember how much I fought with my mom to come here to study. She never wanted me to come this far.

Been an American never was easy in this place I had to learn Italian just so I could fit in even for just bit but I never gave up I learned Italian got a scholarship in university of Catania one of the best in Italy.

When I first came here I was so in love with everything the beaches the food and everything else.

It’s funny now this place only remind of heart breaks and betrayals.

Five years I haven’t set a foot in Sicily for five years. Because I didn’t want face him..

I remember when I first saw him. It was my first day at university. When we ran into each other it was hate at first sight. We hated each so much but as they hate is the first step in love....

Bella she is the only reason I came here My best friend. I wanted to be here for her.

She doesn’t know I am here yet.

As the car pass by building after building i keep remembering the past. Five years passed by but the memories are still fresh so are the scars. I have tried to bury it so hard.

“we have arrived” the driver said. I collected my suitcase and exited the car.

I stand Infront a huge lavish hotel this is one of the best hotels in Sicily my assistant booked this one for me. One of the reason she booked this hotel is because they have a very strict policy about their customers privacy. Been a one of the best singers in America isn’t easy it comes with a price. You can’t do a single thing without media knowing. I really don’t care about the media I just didn’t wanted Bella to know yet I am here. I wanted to give her surprise. She wouldn’t be expecting me. But how could I not come. She needed me.

I know she would never force me to come here.

I went inside the hotel and went towards reception to check in. There was a girl there with blonde hair.

“ Hi I have a booking in here under Adriana Smith” I Said to her.

“ yes we have been waiting for you mam come with me I will show you the way” she said and led me towards the elevator. She pressed the top floor where the penthouses was.

We arrived at the penthouse and went inside. Inside the penthouse there was a huge living room. There was a sofa right in middle in front there was a fireplace and a huge TV. Though there was a balcony. It had the most beautiful view. I could see the ocean from there I could already imagine coming here every morning and night. There were two room there the master bedroom and a guest room. I went into the master bedroom. The bedroom was beautiful. There was a walking closer. And a huge bathroom. Everything about this place was beautiful.

“ do you need anything mam” the receptionist asked.

“ no thank you” I said

“ Okay then have a nice evening mam if you need anything call me” she said and left.

I went inside took a quick bath and got ready. I wore a off shoulder bodycone dress. It hugged my body perfectly. Showed a bit Cleavage. Had v cut near my knee. I was proud of my body and didn’t had problem showing.

I went out and took one off the cars that hotel rented. I couldn’t risk taking a taxi and I know my way around here so it wasn’t a problem for me.

After driving almost half and hour I arrived at the gate of a mansion. This place is far away from the city.

Arrived at the gate there were guards there they asked me who I was and what I was doing here.

“ tell Steven Adriana is here” they spoke through their walkie and opened the gate.

I drove inside and parked my in front the mansion and got outside. This place was beautiful.

As I walked inside I Heard her voice.

“ Steven where are you taking me are we going outside” Bella asked I guess he didn’t tell her that I was here thank god otherwise he would have ruined my surprise.

“ Mia Bella you will find out soon just go outside” I heard Steven say.

Soon they came out of the mansion.

As soon as she saw me she started screaming.

“ oh my god ria you came oh my god I can’t believe it” she shouted literally crushing me with her.

“ Bells I can’t breath” I fake gasped.

“ Shut up a hug won’t kill you” she started laughing at me.

She stepped aside me and asked. “ I thought you weren’t coming?”

“ did you really thought that I will not be with on your most important day”

“ aww ria I missed you so much” she said tears dripping from her eyes.

“ I missed you too bells you have no idea how much”

“ So you didn’t miss me at all that’s not fair” Steven said opening his arms.

I laughed and hugged him.

“ I did miss you but not as much as I missed bells” I winked at him and he started laughing.

“ come on let’s get you inside”

All three of us went inside and sat at the large sofa in their sitting room.

“ to be honest we weren’t expecting you to come” Steven said.

“ I know to be honest I wasn’t sure myself but I wanted to be there for bells on her big day”

“ Ria you know I would never force you to come here I know how hard it must be for you but I am really happy that you decided to come”

That’s true even though it’s her wedding she would have never forced me, she knows the reason why I never wanted to come here. But I wouldn’t do that to her she has been there for me during all difficulties I faced.

“ Hey I came here because I wanted to anyways when is the wedding?”

“ Next week now that you are here I can finally breath I have been so Tense about wedding preparations you have no idea” Bella said.

“ Yeah tell me about it she has been acting like a crazy person” Steven complained putting his arms around her.

“ Hey you only get married once” Bella slapped his hand.

We set there catching up with each other it was good to see them after so long..

“ Do you guys have any plans for tonight?”

I asked them its been so long since we hangout like that.

“ Actually we... we are going to a club there’s a party there tonight. It’s their 7th anniversary” Bella replied she seemed a bit nervous.

“ Hey why don’t you come with us it would be just like we how we use to?” Steven said.

“ yeah sure but whose club is it?” I asked

“ it’s adri.....”

“ a friend of mine” Steven replied before bella could say anything.

“ Okayyy I think I should go now I still have jet leg and I really want take a nap which around when is the party?” I asked them

“ Its at 9 tonight” Steven said.

“ which hotel are you staying, you can just come here and stay here you know that right?” I knew she would say this.

“ I know but I am quite comfortable in a hotel” I said. It’s not like I didn’t like the idea I just didn’t want trouble them.

“ I should really go you guys just send me the location ok?”

“ Don’t worry about we will pick you up you just be ready” Steven said.

“ okay then see tonight then”

I hugged them both and left.

Bella’s Pov

“ why didn’t let me tell her whose club it was?” I asked Steven as soon as ria left.

“ what do you think she will agree to go if I told her whose club it was?” Steven said.

“ I know but we should have told her... I don’t think she is ready to face him yet”

“ She knew the moment she decided to come here that she had face him one day or other, the sooner they meet the better”

Even though I don’t really agree with it I knew it had to happen one day, five years has gone by and it’s finally time. I just hope everything goes well tonight..

They have to find their way back to each other again.
