Ryan
I woke up because I was shivering. I grabbed the blankets and curled up into them even more.
Wait, blankets? I slowly sat up and realized I'm in a room.
'So it wasn't a dream after all.' Sigh. I look over to my right and see a note instead of Finn. 'So that's why I was so warm last night.' I grabbed the note and read it.
~Good morning Ryan. Sorry I'm not there to see you wake up, but I had pack duties to attend too. I will be back at one for lunch. Sorry, but it's the only time I can get off. Then I have to get back to work. So until then, you can relax and watch tv. I already made breakfast for you downstairs. It's on the counter. I'll be back later.
-Finn
P.S. don't try to escape. Because we will find you.
Whatever. I'm still gonna try to escape and that's final. I don't belong to anybody, I'm my own person.
I walked downstairs and ate the breakfast that Finn made me. I have to admit, he's actually a pretty good cook. But oh well. I just wanna get out of here.
I ran upstairs and grabbed a bag to put some money, clothes, and a gun in. I looked closely at the gun and realized it's one of my guns. Jackpot!
I put the bag over my shoulder and run back downstairs. Let's see, where to go. I walk up to the front door and open it. Yes! I'm free!
When I open the door, I meet two very muscular backs.
Okay, maybe I'm not free.
The two really big men turn around and look at me with amusement in their eyes. "Oh, umm hello boys." I said with a nervous chuckle.
"Hello, Luna. Going somewhere?" The guy on the left said with an evil smirk. There is that stupid smirk again.
"Uh no. I was just uh making sure you guys were doing a good job. And it looks like you are. So uh bye!" And with that, I slammed the door shut and ran back upstairs.
'Nice try Luna.' One of the guards mind-linked me.
I growl in frustration. Wait, how did he mind-link me? How did I hear it and how the hell did I growl? I need to find a way out of this hell hole.
I looked around to see where I could go. After realizing I might have to go to another room, I went through all the rooms until I could find one with a floor to ceiling window.
'Sweet!' I say to myself as I finally found one. I looked down and noticed there are a bunch of bushes. I guess those could break my fall. I need to find something to break the glass with and that's when I spot a lamp in the corner of the room.
I grab the lamp and chuck it into the window. Luckily it broke the glass.
I made a jump for it and landed in the bushes. I peek through the holes and notice some men are scrambling around the pack house. I heard some people start to freak out.
"What was that?"
"Someone broke the window."
"Wait! What about the Luna?"
"Oh my gosh. The Luna is inside the house!"
"Guards, check the house and find the Luna. She needs to be protected or else the alpha will kill us himself!"
"Go, go, go!"
Ha! I'm in the bushes, you morons.
I wait for about five minutes and no one is in front of the bushes. Thank the Lord!
I make a dash for it and I'm almost to the forest. But I'm noticed before I even make it halfway.
"There's the Luna! We need to grab her! Everyone go."
Shit!
I push my legs into going faster and right as I make it to the forest, I'm tackled to the ground. I look up and see the guard that mind-linked me earlier. And the other guard comes running up to him. I'm just gonna call them guard one and guard two from now on.
"Damn girl. You're pretty fast." I just smile evilly at that.
"Why does she keep running?" Guard 2 said out of breath.
"It's because she's scared. And besides, alpha Finn loves a good chase." Guard one replied panting.
I growled at them and they looked at me in shock. I myself was shocked. They seemed to notice that I was shocked at started to laugh at me.
I'm really starting to hate these guards now.
"Let me go. And get off of me!" I yelled at them.
"Sorry, no can do Luna." Guard one said laughing. I rolled my eyes at him and continued to lay there. Well, I didn't really have a choice in the matter. "Hello Alpha. We caught your little troublemaker here for you."
"Good job. Thank you very much. I'll take her from here." Finn said. He leaned down and picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.
"Seriously. Do you have to throw me over your shoulder every time?! And I'm not you're little troublemaker!" I yelled at him.
"Yes, I do kitten. As you can see, you're a runner. And this is way easier." He replied.
"I can walk. You do know that right?"
"Yes, I do. But I'm not taking any chances." We made our way back to the pack house and I heard some ladies talking to each other and smiling.
"Aw, that's really cute. She's gonna be a great Luna."
"I know! She will warm up to him really quick."
"I can't wait for them to have children!"
I blushed at the last one and I think Finn noticed because he started laughing.
"What are you laughing at Finn?" I asked annoyed.
"I just can't wait for us to have children either." He said smiling.
My cheeks got bright red. But, I wonder how our children will look. Oh my gosh. Why am I thinking about this?
'Because he's your mate. Duh.' Missy said.
'I know, but I need to get away from here.'
'I don't know why you want to leave. He's our mate, and he loves us.'
'I highly doubt he loves us, Missy.'
'If he didn't, why does he keep chasing us? Why does he keep bringing us here? Every time you scream, he protects us even if it's from something stupid. When you get a chance, scream. All you have to do is scream, and look scared. I guarantee 100% percent that he will protect us from whatever the danger is, even if there isn't any.'
'Okay.' I mumbled unsurely. 'I'll try.'
'Thank you, Ryan. I'm just trying to show you he cares about us.'
"Ryan are you okay?" Finn asked me.
"Yeah, why?" I asked him back.
"Because we have been in my room for like five minutes and you haven't moved at all."
"Oh sorry, I was just uh thinking."
"You weren't thinking."
"I know but if I tell you, you're gonna think I'm crazy."
"Kitten, I already think you are crazy."
I smacked his chest playfully. And let me tell you, wow. He has muscle.
"Okay, well I have this 'voice' in my head."
"What do you mean voice?"
"I don't know how to explain it. I call her Missy. But I can actually talk to her. She showed up a week after my seventeenth birthday. She will talk to me if I'm in danger, I'm hurt, or I'm torn between decisions."
"Umm Ryan? I think you're a werewolf."
What did he just say?
