I was walking towards the cafeteria when my phone rang.
I took out my phone and noticed it was my mom. I tap on the receiver button and began to talk.
"Assalamualikum, mom," I said.
"Walikum Assalam, sweetie. How are you?" mom asked.
"I am good, mom. How are you?" I asked on the phone as I walked towards the cafeteria.
"I am good, honey. I wanted to ask you. Is Omar with you, love?" She asked.
"No, mom. He left the class when the bell rang for the lunch break. Why?" I asked as I was walking towards the cafeteria and entered the cafeteria.
I saw Emily at the end of the cafeteria and saw her waving her hand at me. I nodded and began to walk that way.
