It’s the best birthday ever! Hands down!
Chris comes to the Mortimers at around 11 in the morning and is immediately ambushed with hugs and kisses from Elle and little Chris. Well, hugs and kisses from Elle, little Chris only hugs him, shyly so. But then the kids grin from ear to ear as they shout happy birthday directly to his ears causing his eardrums to temporarily lose the ability to process aural faculty. He is then dragged into the living room where Emma and Parker have waited, they both then ambush him with hugs and kisses themselves. Well, hugs and kisses from Emma, Parker only bro-hugs him.
They then shove presents on to him, lots of lots of them, and force him to open them one by one. Chris is now the owner of a mug that says, ‘best uncle ever’, two ties, a wallet, a snow globe
