“T-tonight?” I asked, turning my head to look at him.
“Hmm,” he answered, his voice deep and rough. “I have another meeting I can't cancel, so I have to go back to work, but when I get back…” His arms tightened around me, and I shivered when he kissed the back of my ear. “Please, be here.”
It was hot and cold with Roman.
