I left the lab, but I didn't know where I was going. I just kept putting my foot in front of the other. I kept hearing the sound of cars and their horns, but I wasn't seeing anything. My eyes were wide open, but I wasn't seeing anything.
A horn was honked, and then a bright light appeared in my vision. I blinked just in time to see a truck driving towards me.
