I gasped, my eyes squeezing shut. I was pressed from all sides by his pheromones, my head clouded by them. My lips were parted as I panted, my back arching off the wall.
“Hmm,” he hummed as his nose returned to my neck, and he inhaled, shuddering so hard.
His pheromones smelled spicy, but in a good way. In a way that made me want more, which wasn't good. Wanting more was me losing control, and I already knew how this was going to end. I should push him away, and yet my body wouldn't move. Yet, instead of pushing him away, I wrapped my arms around his neck and drew him closer to me.
He cursed, his pheromones growing thicker, and a moan slipped out of my lips before I could stop it.
“More, please,” I breathed, my hands slipping into his hair.
It was intoxicating, like a drug you couldn't get enough of. A drug that makes it seem like you’re floating. I wanted more of it. I didn't want him to stop. His lips suck on the skin of my neck, his tongue pressing against my pulse. His breath was growing ragged, his skin growing heated.
Omega's pheromones also have a strong effect on alphas. It could drive them wild, to the edge, but they could resist it, unlike us. This man wasn't trying to resist my pheromones. He was bathing himself in it. I felt a slight shake from his body, a growl vibrating in his chest as he sucked harder on my skin until I felt it throbbing with pain. He seems almost… primal. Like he was losing to my pheromones, and he wasn't even bothered to fight the pull.
“Instead of just standing there and watching, why don’t you join the fun?” he said, and I frowned, wondering what he meant when a voice spoke up.
“That’s enough, Elias.”
Elias–the man on me–just chuckled, his breath warm on me, and that somehow intensified the pleasure I feeling. I grabbed onto him, pressing his head harder into my neck.
“See that, brother?” Elias said, his voice rough. “This angel doesn't want me to pull away.”
“Pull away from her,” the newcomer said. “Now, Elias.”
He looked at me, his eyes glowing, a smirk on his lips. “Do you want that, angel?”
I shook my head so hard I saw stars. “No! I want more! Please.”
He caressed my lips with his thumb. “I know you do.”
“Elias!” the man shouted, and I flinched when I felt his aura.
Elias’ eyes turned hard.
“Daddy has come to ruin the fun,” he said, his voice a deep growl. “I’m afraid our little… delight has to end here.” He pulled away, and I gasped, blinking as if a veil was lifted from my eyes. “This isn't farewell, lovely.”
He turned and walked away, towards the man who was standing still. He bumped his shoulder as he walked past, but the man just kept his eyes on me. Realization rushed back to me suddenly, and I exhaled sharply, covering my shoulders with my hands.
What have I done? Why did I give in so easily?
The man walked to me, and I looked away, my cheeks heating.
“Do you know the way to your room?” he asked softly, and I nodded. “Led the way, then.”
I stole a glance at him, trying to see what expression he had on before I looked away, and started walking. He just looked natural, no judgment or any emotion on his face. I didn't know if I should be grateful for that or not.
I started walking to my room, and he followed silently. I wanted to shirk myself, disappear, because I was ashamed of what I just did. Finally, we reached my room, and I turned to the man who stood behind me.
“M-my room,” I managed, my voice barely above a whisper.
He looked at me with his hands folded behind his back, his eyes fixed on mine. Then he said, “Pardon my brother’s behavior. He’s a little unstable.”
That only made my cheeks burn hotter, and I had to look away. “I-it’s okay. I can't say I'm also blameless.”
“You are.” The way he said it made me look at him. He said it like he wanted to imprint those words into my brain. “You’re blameless. The blame is solely on Elias.”
I shook my head, pressing my hands together. “I… I didn't even say no or push him away.”
“The blame is still on Elias.”
My shoulders dropped, and I just nodded.
I felt his eyes linger on me for a moment too long before he cleared his throat. “Good night, then.”
He walked away, and I finally raised my head and stared at his back. Was he one of my stepbrothers? How many people were I going to meet? I already felt strongly towards the first two, so how will I feel towards this man?
I opened the door and got into my room, immediately heading to the bathroom. I was drenched in Elias’ pheromones, and I wanted to get it off as soon as possible. I took off my clothes and got in, but then I walked past the mirror and stopped, turning towards it.
My eyes trailed from my flushed neck down to my chest and my heavy breasts. Then it went lower to my stomach, and that was when I looked away. I picked the gown I had discarded and covered the mirror, my eyes burning.
It was just the pheromones that blinded Elias, and it was also dark, so he didn't see me clearly. If he did, that wouldn't have happened.
“How pathetic,” I muttered to myself as I turned on the shower. I was more concerned about him not seeing my body than what he did.

ELIAS
“What is wrong with you?” Roman asked as he stormed into my room, his eyes hard.
I wasn't in the mood for this. “I don’t know. You tell me.”
“Do you know who she is? Elara’s daughter. That means she’s family.”
“I don't see that witch as my family,” I snapped.
“Yes, but father got married to her, so she’s family whether you accept it or not.”
I just stared and looked away, facing the window, my thoughts wandering.
I was still cloaked in her pheromones, and it was clouding my head. I had a b***r that has refused to go away, and the image of her flashed face burned into my head.
“Did you smell her pheromones?” I asked, still facing the window.
“Yes, but you don't see me losing control like a damn dog.”
I turned towards him, my eyes hard. “Did you really smell it?”
“It filled the hallway, Elias,” he snapped. “There’s no way I could not have smelled it.”
“Then you know why I couldn't stay away.”
“That’s not a damn excuse!” he snapped, slamming his palms into my desk, and I heard a crack. “Did you even try to hold back?”
“No.”
His nose wrinkled in disgust, and I refused to be bothered by it. I was already a disappointment, weren't I? So why not lean into it?
“She’s off limits, Elias,” he snarled, and I just scoffed, looking back at the window.
“We’ll see. Her pheromones are just too–”
“Unpleasant,” a disgusted voice cut me off.
