“Go… go out with you?” I asked with my eyes wide. I turned back to him to see that he had a soft look in his eyes as he kept staring at me. That was a look I haven't seen in a while. No one has looked at me like that since… well, too long for me to remember. He chuckled softly, and something strange happened in my stomach. I think I've heard people call it butterflies. Yes, butterflies were flying all over my stomach as that soft sound echoed in my ears, and I stared at his soft features. “It’s not what you’re thinking,” he said softly as he placed his elbow on his raised knee and rested his chin on his palm, still staring at me. “It’s not a date, Kaidora. It’s just… out. Let’s borrow wings from the birds for a few hours and fly.” He looked around, his features darkening for a second.
