I remember growing up my family had no money. My parents always worked and struggled to make ends meet. I never had new clothes, i had hand-me downs from cousins and friends. Most were to big or to small and some had stains, I didn’t ever have a lot of friends i had two close ones, their names were madi and Brit. Madi had long blonde hair and always had a beautiful tan, she was very pretty. Brit had short black hair and was as pale as a white wall. I was often picked on because of my clothes and not being able to shower often due to power and water being shut off because my parents couldn’t pay the bills. I stayed at my two friends houses often so i could eat and bathe. Their parents where always nice and weren’t judgmental at all. I felt very comfortable at either house. Sometimes i wish one of their parents would have adopted me. I feel that my childhood would have been a lot better and more fun. I didn’t have any siblings or any pets growing up either. My parents did try their hardest to give me a good life, I wasn’t exactly planned so they struggled from the beginning. I will say that growing up without money made me appreciate what i had and to never waist. I tried the very best i could in school, i wanted to have scholarships so i could go to college, i knew my parents could never afford it so it was up to me to get in. I studied day and night and never took a break. I always had my homework done and made all A’s in school. I did end up going to collage and getting a great job. I don’t worry about having food and I have new clothes now. I still live with my parents for the time being so I can help them out with their bills and try to give them a better life
