Derek Derek straightened his tie and held his head up, hoping he looked smart enough for whoever the High Council had sent them. He still thought it was unnecessary for Steven to have specified that the liaison had to be a shifter, but now they were about to arrive, that was mostly immaterial. Derek was determined to make the most of the situation and to make a good impression. The report this person could make to the High Council could impact the work they got in the future.
