Derek glanced over at Nathalie and admired the way the moonlight made her radiate light. Her silver-blonde hair shone, and there was a peace on her face unlike any he"d ever seen on anyone before.
"What is this place?" he asked.
"Part of the unicorn shifter lands," she answered. "The herd owns a lot of the forest and open space around here."
"Aren"t we going to get caught?"
She opened her eyes and looked in his direction. "It"s not impossible, but it"s unlikely. There are only a few unicorn shifters who live here now, and the rest of us come out to visit from time to time. When you said you wanted somewhere private, this was the best place I could think of."
