Nathair
Nathair paced back and forth while he waited for Autumn to arrive at what seemed to be their official meeting place.
He resisted the urge to shift back into his snake form just in case Autumn"s father turned up instead. He didn"t imagine the man would be very pleased to learn that Nathair was meeting his daughter. Especially not when it seemed that they were in cahoots with one another.
He only relaxed once he spotted her hurrying over to him with a harried expression on her face.
"I"m so sorry, I didn"t think it would take so long for me to get away," she said.
Just like the other times she"d been by the willow tree, she reached out and touched the trunk. He liked that she seemed so connected to it, even if he didn"t fully understand it.
