Goddamn it, I couldn't stop my blue language and the endless dropping of f-bombs. I knew if Cameron heard me, he would get a stroke, and his blood pressure would pass two hundred.
"What happened?" Cameron quickly popped in back. My hands were shivering. Actually, my entire body was trembling. My brain was a mess. I couldn't even push the words. Cameron approached me and knelt next to me. "Baby, what happened? Jesus, you scared me," he worriedly said. I was still unable to speak.
So, instead, I tremblingly showed him my hand. His eyes followed, and his worry instantly vanished from his pretty eyes and focused on...the diamond ring on my finger. "Ah, you found it," he flatly said.
