The air in the quarantine zone was thick with tension as Karina made her rounds, checking on the infected wolves. The tranquilizer that the Silver Moon doctors had developed was working, but only for a limited time. Every so often, a wolf would grow agitated, their eyes glowing with an unnatural rage, only to be calmed by another dose of the tranquilizer.
