The Silver Moon pack’s grand hall was filled with the soft murmur of voices as Caius, Karina, and the rest of the warriors gathered around the large oak table. The air was tense, thick with the weight of the unknown disease that was slowly spreading across the packs. Though they had saved many from the Nightshade and Crescent Peak packs, there were still others they hadn’t yet visited, and the threat lingered over them all.
Caius, seated at the head of the table, looked over the map of the surrounding territories. His golden-brown eyes, normally calm and steady, were clouded with concern. He glanced at Karina, who stood beside him, her dark hair cascading down her shoulders. Her sapphire-blue eyes were focused intently on the map, her pale fingers tracing the lines of the unvisited packs.
