" Zane?" Phoebe looked at me, blinking like a cartoon character. Waiting for me to tell her if the flowers were indeed a marriage proposal.
Technically, they are, I wanted to ask her to marry me. Not just because of what my mother said, but also for her own protection. Now that I am back home after being away for so long, I have to jump right back into the pack business.
That means that I have to formally introduce Phoebe to the pack. Because of the life she lived in the past, she doesn't know anything about our werewolf ways.
As of now, she's like a lone wolf, a werewolf without a pack of her own. That is looked down upon by our community. I have to introduce her as my spouse, that's the only way they will accept her.
