Chapter Sixteen Elise sat at the table in the kitchen deep in thought. She sipped on a lukewarm cup of coffee, mulling over the past few days. Since Matt had healed the boy with fever, a few more villagers had come seeking his healing hands. Their illnesses and injuries had been minor: a sprained ankle, a migraine, and a case of the flu which Matt had cured with his hands and those funny-smelling leaves in that damnable suede pouch.
