Chapter 1

503 Words
The weather is gloomy as I hear my alarm clock through my dream, I start to stir opening my eyes and raising my hand to my side dresser to shut off the alarm. "Damn Alarm always messing up my nice dreams," I say softly to myself as I stretch Pushing the covers back I sit up and rub my eyes, getting out the bed and heading to the bathroom. I turn the shower so the water will be warming up and head to the kitchen. Walking into my kitchen I go to my coffee pot and add my coffee grinds into the filter and add enough to make 2 cups. I don't drink much so 2 cups will be more than enough to get me going. I press start and head back to my bathroom. I walk into the bathroom, closing the door behind me I take off my nightgown and undies and look at myself in the mirror. I need to lose weight. I'm 5'0 so all the fast food I love so much is just below my waist. Making a puffy noise as I grab my toothbrush and add toothpaste I start to brush my teeth while going to the shower and testing the water. Spitting out the toothpaste and rinsing my mouth out with mouthwash I quickly step into the shower and start washing my head. After my shower, I step out and put on the work clothes I had laying on the counter. It's nothing special just a blue t-shirt and black pants. The uniforms are nice looking but I love my apron, it's black with red roses covering it. I quickly dress and start to brush my hair deluding to put it up in a messy bun before heading back to the kitchen to fix my cup of morning coffee. 1 French Carmel creamer and 3 scoops of sugar are how I like mine. I drink my coffee in a hurry, grabbing a banana and quickly eating it while grabbing my apron and putting my black work shoes on I turn to the door and leave for work. I love my normal days after work, I'll come home and read a book after my shift getting lost in a sometimes better world. Stepping outside and noticing the rain I turn back and grab my umbrella from inside the house next to my door before shutting and locking it. Taking the car remote out of my purse I press the unlock button, shoving it back into my purse before opening my umbrella and stepping out into the rain. I open the car door quickly climbing in and closing my umbrella before closing my car door. Starting my car I put on my seat belt, the AC and the music turning the volume up high to help wake me up. Pulling out my driveway I start to head to work as my phone starts to ring and I look at the dashboard seeing "Father calling" popping up onto my screen.
