Loud wails and cries ushered me up from my bed as I hastenly madey way towards the crib to hold my daughters but adline had beat me to it.
Hushing them, Adline turned to face me. “Go back to bed, Aurora. You’ve only been able to get 30 minutes of shut eyes”
I smiled at her nervously. “I’m sorry. The girls are quite noisy, aren’t they?”
Adline waved off my worry with a smile. “It’s okay. I’ll be more than happy to take care of this two beauties” She cooes in their faces as the girls finally kept hush. “You haven’t still given them a name?”
