Chapter five Their son
A grandiloquent building can be seen surrounded by vastly different kinds of flowers and tall trees. Some maids in blue gowns and white linen could be seen taking care of the flowers. Some watered it, while others picked the mature ones for pottering.
They walked towards the mansion in the middle where some guards were stationed. The afternoon sun was burning more than usual and It was good for some types of flowers.
A maid walked through the hallway passing rows of doors and guards, she turned to the left and stopped right before a door with a golden knob.
She took a breath and knocked. Surprisingly there was no reaction from her when no one answered her from the other side and she was used to it.
She pushed the door and was greeted with a sight. A group of people in different expensive attires sat individually not bothered by her presence. She walked towards the table in the middle of the gathering and dropped the vase there.
She bowed her head slightly in respect and tried to walk out of the tense atmosphere when suddenly a crash was heard.
She jolted toward the sound and saw that the flower vase she brought was smashed on the floor. She quickly picked the pieces and walked silently out of there.
" Nonsense! I repeat nonsense! So you came from your house just to question my decision about you getting married to that celebrity?!" A middle man roared in anger as his hands were pointed at someone.
" Father, please calm yourself..your blood pressure….don't think too much of what he said, dad." A young lady in her early twenties tried to appease the man.
" Lily dear. Thank you, but your brother isn't sorry for what he just said, how dare he question my decision." Mr.Ren bellowed.
The black-haired beauty turned to the man in the room who sat lazily on his chair, unbothered by the man's disturbing complaint.
" Brother apologize to father and let this matter slide away." She commanded.
Lycan gazed at her and for once there was a slight trace of amusement in his cold eyes." So you had grown wings to speak like that to me…hm… I guess I was away for too long."
Lily's eyes narrowed slightly at him, then said." It doesn't matter what I say now brother, you must apologize to father."
Lycan was silent for some moment, and so was the other family member in the room.
It turns out that immediately Lycan visited his family's house. The head of the family Mr. Ren issued a meeting.
Why was the room like this?
It was because of Lycan's disagreement concerning the proposal his family told him about.
" Don't be rude to your brother, Lily, I'm not weak to scold him. Besides, if he doesn't want to accept the proposal then he has to tell the mass about it, not me cause I've already done my part." He said.
Lycan sighs and crosses his legs.
" Brother, what do you mean by you have done your part?" Uncle Ben asked.
Uncle Ben was Mr. Ren's younger brother.
" That is what you shouldn't know Ben, well as for you Lycan my son. I'll give you extra time to think about the proposal, look you can't do anything about it. The Melia family will be visiting at the end of this month and I expect there to be a good relationship between you and their daughter." Said Mr. Ren to Lycan.
" I'll do just as you say ' Father." He emphasized the word with bitterness and his eyes turned cold.
Not caring about the tone, Mr.Ren said." Good, now let's talk about the company."
Like the page, the topic changed and the atmosphere was lively again.
Lycan discussed the progress of the company and some other stuff before he left the house.

In his car, he dialed a number.
" Hello, boss." The receiver answered.
" Where are you, Lucas." He asked straight away.
" At the office, working on some files." He replied.
" oh, is it the one I forgot to check?" Lycan sighed.
" Yes sir."
" Tsk, and I have a job for you." He sighs in regret.
There was silence for a while before Lucan said." What is it, boss? I'm always active."
"Good! I want you to do something very important for me!" He packed somewhere and discussed some things with Lucas.
A few minutes later.
" I guess the meeting went wrong., Lucas remarked after hearing the problem.
" you can put it that way. So I'll be busy for now. Call me when you are done." He said and hung up the call.
' Since this is the way they try to treat their son, I'll clean up their mess the last time.' He thought and drove away.
