Chapter 243: That Woman
Tong Eudora was the first to come to her senses. She put down the bowl in her hand, got up, and ran out of the dining room.
When she arrived in the hall, at the entrance, there stood a man wearing a black stocking mask, dressed in all black, with white gloves on his hands, holding a dagger to Phoebe Hamlet's neck.
Phoebe Hamlet's brows were slightly furrowed, her teeth biting into her red lips, clutching her purse, trembling all over.
Just after she had finished a video call with Aunt Liu through the intercom, Aunt Liu opened the main door and hung up. In the next second, she was taken hostage by this unknown man who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.
"Crash—"
"Ahh—"
Suddenly, the sound of breaking glass and Aunt Liu's scream came from the dining room.
