I kept my head down as Ryken pulled me towards his cottage. He opened the door and walked in, he turned to look at me and pulled me in for a hug. I took a big breath and ended up letting out a huge sob. "Ry, I don't know if I can do this!" My stomach clenched in knots, I just found him, a real mate. A mate that actually cares and doesn’t just want to use me. "What if he hurts you?" I could feel the hot tears building in my eyes and the lump forming in my throat.
I pulled away from him and wrapped my arms around myself as I started pacing back and forth. "My dear do not worry about that! I will be fine." He reassured me, I shook my head knowing I will always be worried about this man. He held his arms open again and I walked into his warm embrace and laid my head on his chest.
