chapter 3 (Andrew pov)

Today my girlfriend and I are going to see her best friend and her daughter I am seeing them in person for the first time and I feel so nervous I know that we talk on video chat all the time but this is different I want to make a good first impression because they are Amber's family and when I first meet lily on the phone she was so scared about something and then I asked Amber and she told me about what happened and all I wanted to do was go and kill the bassterd but lily talked me out of it because she didn't want me to get in trouble for her and then she asked me to be her daughter's godfather and I felt so happy that she would trust me after only meeting me once over the phone. I was about to go to work when Amber walked in to are room and she asked what I was planning to do this weekend and when I said nothing she said that me and her are going to go to see lily and Katie and I got so nervous but also so happy that I get to see them in person

(at the cafe)

We are pulling up to the cafe and we see lily and Katie sit down and then her and Amber shared a look and then Katie screamed and started to yell at Amber and then Amber had her close her eyes and had me move in front of Katie and the next thing I know Katie is jumping into my arms and wouldn't let go of me then I told her that I couldn't breathe and the next thing I know she was about to fall and I caught her be for she could fall we are setting and talking when Katie said that she is so excited about the move Amber and I looked at lily and lily said lily:Katie you were not supposed to mention the move yet it was suppose to be a surprise Katie:sorry mommy I am just so excited to be moving to new York when she said that Amber got up and grabbed lily's arm and dragged her to the bathroom and left me with Katie and I looked at Katie and asked her Andrew:when are you going to be moving to new York Katie:mommy is still looking for places for us to live she said and then she said that her mom was talking to someone about why she wanted to move but she didn't hear all of it but that she didn't want to stay here and I felt so bad that lily is still so scared of the bassterd that raped her I just wish there was something I could do for her.
