Elena “What?!” Rachel screeches in my ear. “How the… what? Please explain. Paul was in on this? Oh, he’s going to get an earful!” I probably shouldn’t tell Rachel about all of this, but I’d feel guilty not telling her. If she ever found out the way she did about the party incident at Declan’s house – I’m not sure she’d forgive me. I did promise her to never keep anything big from her again. Mike not being dead is kind of a big thing and, since Randall is behind bars, I figure it’s safe to let the cat out of the bag. She lives in Michigan anyway and her boyfriend already knows the truth; what harm could there be telling her? What harm would it do to tell anyone? I don’t understand why Mike just doesn’t come back.
