Her Control

As she looked at the time, it was already 3AM. Haya was absolutely sleepy and not in the mood to drive. So she somehow called an Uber and drove to the resort she had to go to.
"Saad.. you still.. up…?" She said in a sleepy n tired voice, as she took off her heels.
"I was waiting for u to come back." Saad replied.
"I'll sleep now, I'm extremely tired. I drank too much at the party I guess." Haya skipped the details.

Haya wore her luxurious stilettos, took out her designer bag, wore her expensive perfume and she was all ready to start the day.
"Saad .. wakeup saad.." As she was about to wake him up, she saw a beautiful bouquet on the dressing, with a note saying "For Haya".
She smiled and tried to wake Saad up.
"Wakeup my love. We have to get ready for meeting love."
He held her arm and said in a sleepy voice "Please let me sleep for a bit?"
"No babe. U have to get up. I came here for u, love. Just get up."
Saad tried to get up and open up his eyes.
He handed over his card to Haya and she took the keys to his car.
"I'm going to grab coffee for both of us. I'll be back soon. So in the meantime, u get ready and shower. Alright?".
"Sure love. " Saad replied
As soon as she left the door, Saad opened up his laptop.
"To CEO,
Saad Hussain.
We are happy to announce that Miss Haya Irshad has been selected as the new President for the company.
We wish her all the best.
Regards."
"It would never be possible without you, Saad. " Haya whispered to him.
"What the Hel- you didn't leave?" Saad got terrified.
"I came to pick my ear pods that I left here. Why are you getting scared like this?" Haya smirked.
"No.. it's.. nothing. Well I'll go and freshen up. You didn't bring much last night, right? We have to check out from the resort in the afternoon. I hope you remember."
"I do. Don't worry. Now let me grab coffee. Okay?" She gave him a forehead kiss.
Saad smiled.
As she drove off to grab coffee from Tim Hortons, her phone screen blinked.
"Congratulations Haya. For this big achievement."
She looked at the screen and smiled.
It's nothing. It's just the beginning.
I've to reach miles from here. It's not the fire of success but revenge.
