As I seat down both my parents seemed more nervous then normal. which only added to me being nervous.

"Abby honey since today is your 18th birthday there are a few thing we need to tell you. 1st you will go through a chance letter tonight under the full moon" dad said

"what are you talking about dad are you all trying to play some weird birthday prank on me or have you lost your minds"

"No we aren't. tonight when the full moon is at its highest you will chance . That dream you had last night was your wolf coming to you she will be your protector from now on. Trust her, and talk to her. But whatever you do don't shut her out cause one day your life may depend on her."dad said

"Dad are you ok cause your talking like a crazy person people can't change into wolves"

As I finished what I was saying dad stood up and before I could ask what he was doing he changed into a very large wolf. he was black with white spots with glowing green eyes. I opened my mouth to speak but words felled me. So I just stood there with my mouth open till mom grabbed my arm. "its ok sweetheart here set down there is more we have to tell you please keep an open mind "

Dad left the room and changed back from his wolf form and put on different clothes. when he came back in he took a seat. I was still im shock and completely unable to speak.

"Now you know that we are werewolves there is more you need to know. I am the Alpha of the blue moon pack and you are going to take my place after you go to the Alpha academy for proper training. the training normally takes about 6 months" dad said

"I have a few questions is this what you all was talking about the other night? Is changing painful? Why has this been keep a secret?"

"slow down one thing at a time. yes this is what we was talking about. yes the 1st change can be painful but don't be scared we will be here with you and will help you in any way we can. and this was keep from you to protect you as far as we know you are the only female Alpha which some wolf may see that as a weakness and would try to take your place before you can be trained."dad said
