Revenge on Alpha Danon

Chapter 3

She must run, she has to save herself from danger.

The night was a blur and cozy of shadows and pounding footsteps, stifled whimpers, labored breaths, and cracking branches.

Keira, who discovered that she was pregnant with Alpha Danon's child, raced through the woods, her muscles strained with titillation.

She had nothing with her except the clothes she wore to the pack house before Danon ordered for her to be thrown out of the pack house and behind her was the sonorous sound of boots chasing her.

Her eyes were blazing with heartbreak and anger and that was what electrified her to run this far. No matter how hard she tried to get her claws out, it still wouldn't budge and she needed to transform into her wolf form to be able to run faster than the people chasing her.

Wolves howled behind her as they drew closer to her. They were sent by Alpha Danon to kill Kiera but she wasn't ready to give in to death. She must find a way to escape them.

As she kept running inside the dense forest, her breath became heavy and her body was exhausted from so much running from the pack. She knew who was chasing after her. They were sent by Alpha Danon to kill her because he wouldn't want his father, Alpha Kevin, to find out that he had a mate. He would be forced to marry Kiera and make her the Luna of his pack and he didn't want a weak omega as his mate.

She stumbled, almost falling, but managed to regain her balance. She knew she must keep going, for herself and her unborn child.

Finally, Kiera came to a halt. She leaned against a tree for support, then she looked around searching for any sign of safety but there was none. She is alone, defenseless, and being hunted by the very pack she once called home.

Suddenly, the sound of rustling leaves and heavy footsteps grew louder behind her. Kiera's heart began to race as she realized that the pack guards were closing in on her. Panic set in but she refused to give up, not when another life was growing inside of her.

" Finally, we caught you." One of the guards grinned as he panted heavily. " You're quite a fast runner." He added, and the second guard burst into laughter.

" How about we have our way with her?" he asked the first guard, his eyes glittering with mischief. " Or let's r**e her till she bleeds to death, then throw her body into the Venga ocean?"

Kiera's eyes widened in terror and the guards approached her, their intentions clear. She trembled uncontrollably, knowing fully well that her life was hanging in the balance.

" Don't you dare come closer" Kiera warned, but the guards grinned and moved closer to her while she shifted backward. Her eyes were filled with fear and vulnerability.

The guard continued moving closer to her till her back came in contact with a tree. He dragged Kiera by her waist and tore her already haggard clothes, then tore her panties too. He took out his d**k and was about to penetrate her hole when an arrow whizzed through the air, striking him on his d**k. He cried out in excruciating pain and collapsed to the ground, his blood oozing out badly.

Kiera's eyes darted around, searching for the source of the unexpected savior, and just then, a figure emerged from the shadows, a bow in his hand.

Kiera looked at him from head to toe. The aura that emerged from him was that of an Alpha, but she hadn't seen an Alpha walking around with an arrow and bow in the night.

" Leave her be. I will not let you harm her any further" her savior said, and the other guard scoffed even though he was shocked by the sudden turn of events. He glanced at his injured companion who was writhing in agony on the forest floor.

" You can't stop us. The Alpha ordered her death" he said defiantly.

" The Aloha may have given the order, but it doesn't mean I have to follow it. Now, leave before things get worse for you". Kiera's savior's gaze fell on the second guard and he shifted back in fear.

He knew he wasn't a match for Kiera's savior so he reluctantly retreated. He helped the first guard up and they both retreated to the Mountain Hill pack. Kiera watched as they disappeared into the distance. Her hand's heartbeat began to race faster again. She turned to her savior, tears streaming down her face. She was grateful he came to her rescue and if not for him, she would be screaming and wailing in pain as the guards made their way towards her.

" Thank you. I thought...... I thought it was the end for me" she whispered, barely above a whisper, as her eyes began to feel dizzy once more.

" You're safe now. Come, let's get you somewhere secure." He said and offered his hand to Kiera, who took it without hesitation but fell into his arms when her legs failed to cooperate with her and her eyes closed on their own.

Her savior was fast at catching her, so she fell into his arms and he carried her in a bridal style and walked deeper into the forest.

NEXT MORNING

The last thing Kiera remembered was falling into the arms of the stranger who saved her and right there she was lying on a gigantic bed.

The brightness of the sun struck her eyes and she frowned softly and squinted her eyes before opening them slowly. She found herself in a bedroom that was painted white and she was lying on a gigantic bed.

She sat upright and that was when she knew she wasn't alone in the room.

She turned around and saw the person who saved her last night.

" You're pregnant?" He asked and she nodded slowly.

" I brought this upon myself." She muttered and looked at her savior, for that second when she looked at him, she was lost for words. The man sitting on the sofa in front of her was the most handsome person she had ever seen in her whole life.

He had curved eyebrows, long lashes, a chiseled jawline, and small pink lips which were as tempting as ever.

" I stooped so low to make him have s*x with me because I wanted him all to myself. He has been my long-time crush and he wouldn't recognize me if I didn't take action so I did and that led to my pregnancy" she said, picking on her nails. She was embarrassed by what happened and now she's regretting her actions, but she just couldn't bring herself to hate the life inside of her.

" So why were you chased?" He asked as he crossed his legs on each other looking so calm like a Greek god that he was.

" I am an omega who doesn't have a wolf. Funny, right?" She chuckled sadly and looked at the stranger's face, but he had a straight face on.

" He doesn't want a weak wolf to be his mate, so he rejected me without knowing that I am pregnant with him" she continued and sighed sadly.

" What's your name?"

" Kiera." She answered and bit her lips.

" I will make you my mate and the Luna of this pack," he said calmly, and Kiera faced him swiftly. Her eyes widened and her lips parted.

" I don't get you."

" I said I am making you the Luna of my pack, Red Blood Sky pack, and my mate." He said and she chuckled and looked at him like he had just cracked the most ridiculous joke ever.

" I am serious." He said again and she noticed he wasn't joking and her eyes widened the more.

Was the moon goddess playing with her fate or what?

She was rejected yesterday by her mate and today she will be crowned the Luna of a pack she doesn't even know.
