I found Raphael in his study room after dinner. The door is open and he is sitting at his desk with his jacket off and his sleeves rolled up. He is looking at something on his laptop. When I knock on the doorframe he looks up at me.The way I tilt my face makes him close his laptop.
"Come in, " he says to me.
I slowly enter and I do not sit down. I close the door,stand in front of his desk with my hands by my sides. I look directly at Raphael.
"Serena, " I say. "What is she to you?"
Raphael's face does not change. He leaned back in his chair and looked at me.
"She is a friend, " he says.
"That is not an answer,she seems closer to you than anyone else," I couldn't help, but mentioned with jealousy coursing through me.
"It is the truth, " he said, almost absentmindedly.
