NORA
I was up before the pack, started going about their daily activities and also before the kitchen sounds started and the guards changed over.
I don't even know what pulled me out of sleep. There wasn't a sound. It wasn't a bad dream. I just opened my eyes and the dark ceiling was there and my body already knew it wasn't going back.
So I got up unpleasantly and rushed to Eli's room first.I always go to Eli's room first every morning before I start my day,it's more like a routine. That hasn't changed since the first night I had him fully in this pack,it has become part of me since then.
His room is warm,the small light near the door is on. I left it on when I checked on him before I went to bed and I always leave it on and I'm not examining why I always leave it on.
