I didn't hear her come in,I was on the floor beside the bed with my knees pulled up and my face buried in my hands,the tears had been going for so long my throat was raw from it.
Then the door opened,And my mum voices came in "Nora,"
I looked up fast and wiped my face with the back of my hand but there was nothing to hide, my eyes were swollen and my face was blotchy and she had already seen everything.
She crossed the room without a word and dropped down beside me on the floor.
"Hey," she said quietly, her hand going to my face, cupping my jaw, tilting my face up toward hers, "what happened,"
