IT'S OKAY TO LET GO!!

Stalker .. !

I was really afraid of the invisible shadow that was following me , I could not understand so I hurried and reached home , mumma was in the office , she would be home by 8 o'clock and till then I was all alone by myself. I sat on my couch and switched on the television to watch something horror but nothing interesting was there so I went back to my room and played The Vampire Diaries. I had planned to finish the last 3 episodes of season 3 because unit tests were ahead and I had not studied a single chapter. Everytime I watched TVD I secretly wished that I was Elena and Max was Damon and got consumed in that series creating my own fantasies that will never be real because I was too afraid to confess what I felt. Suddenly I realized that Max was about to meet Rebecca today , and this realization was enough for me to get upset . I completed 3 episodes by 6 pm and slept comfortably in my cozy bed . I only woke up when my mother came into my room with the super sexy news that she no longer has to work as a receptionist at Walter's cafe and she will be in their management team now. Walter's Cafe was really popular in town . When my father left , my mother was about to shift from Manchester but then her friend Monica told her that she had great friends here and she would not find it appealing to reside alone so she stayed.

Mom ~~ Well , c'mon let's celebrate ….!!

Silvy ~~ yeah , sure where to then ?

Mom ~~ you love decaf so let's go have some and pastries what say ..?

Silvy ~~ yeah , finally !!!!

I loved chocolate pastries but in my 15's I had a cavity so my mother doesn't really let me eat that . I mean just one year and I'll be in college. It's high time she should let me live my life on my own terms. We often had this argument , not just the chocolate but several other things too as she would never tell me how my father died. The only thing that I am acknowledged with is that he died after I was born.

But …….! It's a great day for her so I will not ruin anything for her…….

We went to Roffle Street and ordered decaf and chocolate pastries initially . My mother and I were really having the best of our time but then I saw Max hanging out with Rebecca , she was wearing short middie which clearly revealed her cleavage and they were talking with so much joy , all I felt was why is Max this happy with her .

My mother noticed my facial expression and tried to see what my eyes were gazing at. She finally succeeded at finding Max with Rebecca . She noticed them both having the best of their time and Max literally looked real happy with her . I was continuously staring at them , a part of me wanted to pay attention to my mother but I was too busy staring at them and cursing Rebecca that I just could not do that anymore .

My mother tapped my hands and I was brought back to reality .

Mom ~~ " What are you staring at ? "

" It's nothing , I was just gazing around ! "

Mom ~~ " I don't think so ! "

Now I know she has seen Rebecca and Max and I will get a good lecture about why I don't even try to ask him out. I was waiting for it to happen but she sipped her coffee and said ,

Mom ~~ " You know you should tell him once what you feel ! "

" But mom , I will ruin the one good thing I have ever known and it is our friendship ! "

Mom ~~ " Life is all about risks , either this side or that way , you don't get to stay in the middle you will always have to choose and act accordingly . "

" I guess you are right ! "

Mom ~~ " I am always right . "

" Fine, I will tell him after some days . "

Mom ~~ " Yes, take your time , but for now let's leave . "

" Yes , sure ! "

I gave her a big fat smile and then she went near the counter to pay the bills . My eyes were still on Max but I was pretending like I did not notice them . Max saw me looking here and there and then waved , even I saw him waving his hand but I could not understand how to react because he was with Rebecca . So I pretended like I had not seen him and then brought my eyes to my phone . He thought that I hadn't seen him so he again started talking with Rebecca . I even noticed Rebecca looking at me , I am sure , Max told her about me which I hated the most . He always does this , no matter what happens he goes to her like a puppy and tells her everything . I hate to think this because he is not after her , she is but still why is he even friends with her ?

I was employed with my senseless thinking when my mother tapped my shoulder and asked if we were ready to leave . Of Course I was ready to leave , what more is left to see ?

I got up and we started walking but then Rebecca turned around and greeted my mother with a big ass smile , I hate how she pretends . Max looked at me and smiled even though I did the same .. god he looks so sane and fine , he greeted my mother as well . It was weird because they were my friends and they were greeting my mother so happily . All I could think was " am I that boring ? "

" Naah , my mother is a savage . "

Not to lie , I was a proud daughter .

Max ~~ " So you coming school tomorrow ? "

" Yes I am ! "

Rebecca ~~ " I am sure you will . "

She said sarcastically , which I didn't understand .. she acts strange sometimes but my mother gave her a serious look which she did not notice of course , how would she ?

She was more interested in glaring Max's face .

" b***h ! " I screamed in my head but it was of no help .

We were finally done with the greetings , I was happy that I got to see Max and then we left .

Mom ~~ " He is a nice boy ! "

" I know !! " I said looking out of the window ..

Mom ~~ " You cannot control what he feels but you can always confess what you feel . "

" And what good will that do to me ? "

Mom ~~ " you will not live in regret that you never tried , it's high time now you should confess how you feel … the worst he would do is say a clear no and you will not have false hopes .

" You are right , I will do it .. but how ? "

Mom ~~ " ask your best friend Abby … " she said giggling ..

" Mom please , help me out .. "

Mom ~~ " I will not be there all the time , you have to charge of your life .."

" Why are you talking like this ? "

Mom ~~ " I am just saying sweety ! "

We reached home while conversing in the car , she kissed my forehead and we got out of the car … it was a great day but my next task was to propose Max .

The idea of proposing him terrified me , all I could think was how he will react but then I did not ponder much and got straight into my room after kissing my mom .
