The trip back to civilization. Charlize kept coming in and out of sleep as we prepared to take her home. The guys tried to remain calm even though she was on the verge of crying at some points.
"Are you in pain?" Blaze asked her.
"No, not physical pain." But she kept it together as best she could, recognizing these men she didn't know were upset and emotional. So she closed her eyes and tried to sleep. She didn't understand their sadness or why she was affected by it all. The muscular man remains whispering to her. "We are going to make sure you get well."
I kept calm and didn't respond, but I had many questions.
