Kath did not understand why Athena suddenly thought it was a good idea that she train with Hades first when she seemed keen on not letting him so much as be twenty feet near the Underworld the last time. She did not know what had changed but it made her doubly apprehensive, especially when Hades looked like he had a different sort of ‘training’ in mind altogether.
Apollo frowned, ever the person who was always in her corner, and seemed inclined to disagree with Athena’s decision. The goddess reminded him, however, that he was needed to check on Eirene’s progress and to assess her whenever she woke up.
So when all was agreed upon and Hades had bridged the both of them into his palace in the Underworld, she quickly moved to make space between them just to be safe. Hades quirked an eyebrow
