There were only a handful of times in his life when fear had effectively rendered Hades, God of the Underworld, utterly paralyzed. As an immortal who ruled over a realm of darkness and had seen more atrocities than kindnesses, very little would come and happen that he had no choice over. Generally, he always had a choice.
