"She"s something else." Nick kissed the top of Rebecca"s head and turned back to Laurelynn. "I hope you"re comfortable here. I think you"ll like the town and there are enough of the clan around that they"ll notice immediately if there"s a strange cat around. It hadn"t occurred to me until everything on the other side of the ranch was booked. If it had I probably would have had you staying here, or at least in town, all along."
Laurelynn glanced around the one room cabin, it was small but welcoming. "I"ll be fine. I"m sure the town is friendly enough and I know how to get to the ranch, that"s what matters.
