Chapter 5 Blossom Yang is Summer?

TAO SHEN CHU

"That's her full name". Liu said dropping her wine glass on the table.

"wait, what do you mean?"

"Summer's full name is Summer Blossom" she said and I looked at her shocked.

"so Blossom Yang is Summer? Like Summer Yang?" I asked still in shock.

" Now I understand the names. But why would Summer disguise herself to live with us for 8 years? And... what happened to her face?" I asked confused.

"What happened to her face?" she repeated my question.

"The scar on her face". I said. Blossom had a scary scar on her face that gave her a disfigured look, as though she had been involved in a fire accident.

"Summer met a boy on her 16th birthday and they began to fantasize on the impossible, Zhu Dang got angry and reminded her of her engagement to Yei Kai, she got angry as well and ran away, right after telling her father that she will never marry Yei Kai because she doesn't love him". she said looking at my face and I almost choked with laughter.

"Can you blame her? " I asked and she grinned.

" Bad genes I guess. Zhu blames me a lot for passing my notorious gene to my children?"

" it's girl power, they won't understand " I grinned.

" Summer said she was just a little girl that knew nothing when she had made the promise". Liu added breathlessly.

" Oh my god, my poor little Summer. And then what? " I asked

" And that was the last time we ever saw her. for the past 8 years, no one knows where summer is"she finished breathlessly again.

"if summer doesn't like Yei Kai, then no one should force the marriage on her "I said in a frown.

"Yei Kai is not even the same sweet little boy again ". I said Sadly.

"Zhu Dang is bent on fulfilling the contract. And if Summer doesn't come back, Scarlet would replace her sister ". she said taking a deep sigh.

"Sometimes I wonder where she is " she added solemnly.

"Do you think she disguised herself to stay and take care of Yei Kai so that the contract can be dissolved?" she asked wincing painfully.

"I don't know. But no matter what, we must find the best Physician to treat Blossom ". I said picking up my phone.

"Don't let anyone else know about this, let's be sure she's the one first " she pleaded.

"that's not a problem". I offered with an assuring smile. My mind was in so much storm. Blossom's situation was really terrible, what if she's really Summer? I really hope she survives this.

YEI KAI CHU

I wasn't feeling well today and I am so worried about blossom. okay normally I don't like her, but I don't want anything to happen to her. I sat on the rooftop, looking down. This hotel had been one of my numerous investments and I had purchased it in Summer's name. Yu my personal assistant jogged up to the rooftop with some documents in hand.

"master Kai" he called and I raised my head up.

"have you found her yet? "I asked and he shook his head negatively. Yu had worked for me for 6 years now and he was my most trusted acquaintance after my friends. When I had began to purchase properties at the age of 20, Yu was the only one who could help me manage my investments. I stood up from my wheelchair walking to the railing on the rooftop to look down at the floor. The parking lot was filled up only one parking space was left.

10 years ago I had rescued Yu from a gang of loan sharks during one of my therapies. Then I could already walk without the wheel but I couldn't let anyone find out. Later I discovered that his father was responsible for my accident. I paid off his family's debts and the man nearly worshiped my feet. Then he told me everything that had happened years back.

The Chu family business was flourishing right from the beginning of the business. but suddenly things change when the Chu Group HQ had collapse trapping over 100 employees and killing about 30 of them including Chu Nam Hong, the Patron of the Chu family, Yei Kai's Great Grandfather and Guo Yen Chu, the heir to the Chu Businesses.

16 years old Chu Wen Chang had been devastated losing his father and his older brother in the sudden collapse. later it was discovered that the collapse was caused by Chu Wen Kang, Wen Chang's twin who had gambled using the family company as a collateral. He had lost to the gangsters and they had requested for their bait, Wen Kang had ran away. The gangsters got angry at his attitude and caused the collapse of the Company's building.

Wen Kang was ousted from the family by their grandfather who was still alive then but the old man had passed away 4 months after the collapse. His heart attack was triggered by the press criticism of their then currency situation. But before is death, he had entrusted the family business to 16 years old Wen Chang.

Wen Chang had to start the company from the scratch so he took help from his friend's family. The Wei Group only came to the top after the collapse of the Chu family. Wei Ma Kong was a good friend of Guo Yen Chu, and he'd readily agreed to help Wen Chang bring back the Chu family business to life. They drew up a contract that Wen Chang's son must marry a girl from the Wei Family to maintain their family tie and prolong their friendship. Wei Yu Li, Ma Kong's 16 years old son agreed that his daughter must marry his best friend Wen Chang's son.

Years went by and they both grew up. The Chu and Wen businesses began to flourish again and soon Wei Yu Li and Chu Wen Chang got married respectively and just as expected, Alfred and Nana were born. The former contract was rewritten using the children's names and when they grew up to the recorded age, Alfred and Nana were forced to get married against their wills.

Amidst all these, Chu Wen Kang had returned with his own family to take the Chu family business or destroy it. When Wen Kang found out everything that happened during his absence, he had decided to strike back at his brother by killing the new heir to the Chu family Yei Kai Chu. The accident that happened 18 years ago was originally arranged to kill Yei Kai, summer was only used as a pawn to accomplish their plot. Wen Kang almost succeeded. That reckless driver that almost killed Yei Kai 18 years ago was Yu Wong Fu, Yu Bai Yu's father. Yu Bai Yu, the personal assistant of Yei Kai Chu
