Chapter 4 Eat Our Fist

"I guess you haven't heard. I've been trying to contact you for the past six years but I couldn't". He said Sadly.

"Why? Did something happen while I was away?" I'd asked putting the kid back down.

" Nothing happened, but would you mind having lunch with us? I could tell you everything that happened. That's if you're not busy".

"Actually..." I'd started and Lang tugged eagerly at my skirt.

"Aunt Tao don't say no, it's my Birthday, celebrate with us". He'd chime like a church bell before turning to his brother.

" Brother Kai! What do you say?" He'd asked tugging at his Brother's arm.

"Alright". That was all Kai had said and I couldn't say no to them.

"Alright then". I said picking him into my arms again. We had lunch and afterwards, we took the kids to the park. As they played, Alfred told me how Nana and him had gotten a divorce a year ago and that she was finally married to Chen Bo. We started going out together and Five months later, we got married. Kai was always the less talker. At first, he was a bit distant but later, he began to thaw out.

I reunited with Liu my other best friend then I met her Family. Liu had married Zhu Dang, Alfred's best friend and they had 4 kids already. I brought one of their twin daughters, Summer Yang, to stay with us that Holiday, Summer was same age as Bu Lang and they became best of friends. The kids cherished Summer a lot and didn't want her to leave, so Summer lived with us for 2 years and only went home during some weekends until the accident 18 years ago, Zhu Dang had moved his Family to country B. Since then, Kai had changed drastically.

I entered into my Company and stopped shocked at what I saw.

"Yang Liu?" I exclaimed and the lavishly dressed woman lounging on my Company's Reception flashed me a charming smile.

"Surprise!" she explained and I bolted into her arms.

"my god, it's been so long. how have you been? How is my girls summer? how's the family and Business? How are the other kids?" I asked rushing the questions and she just smiled. then she eyed me deviously.

"what? " I asked still smiling.

"just checking my Tao Shi CEO. Not looking bad", she joked and we both laughed out loud. My Employees looked at us and began to whisper to themselves.

"Come on, we've got a lot to catch up on", I said dragging her into the elevator to my office.

"Anna, keep all visitors out, no matter who it is". I said to my secretary and she nodded with a smile. we got into my office and Yang Liu threw her bag casually on my table.

"now my girl, this is a fashion Designer's office ". she complimented

"thanks sis. I missed you so much".

"you know, country B isn't so far from country H ". she replied in a laugh.

"so, tell me what's going on with you? how have you been? how is the family? how is business? "she asked all at once and I took a deep breath.

"it hasn't been all easy, managing the family and business, but I'm grateful "I said.

"you know, I met Nana in country B, she isn't as happy as we thought she'll be. Chen Bo changed ". she said sadly.

"Nana is suffering a lot ". she added

"oh I wouldn't have ever thought that... I mean they were so in love "I said surprised

"I was shocked as well. But, Nana needs help, Chen Bo is a skunk ". Liu said angrily as I walked over to the wine cellar to get us a bottle of fine wine and two glasses.

"we used to be The Three musketeers back in the day. I think Chen Bo needs to be taught a lesson ", I said raising my glass in the air, she smiled Hideously raising her own glass. The two glasses clicked in the air.

"you know we used to be a notorious trio back in the day. Do you think Chen Bo deserves to eat our fists?". she asked with a wicked smile.

"Sure enough". I returned her smile.

"so tell me about the family, How's sweet little Lang? And Yei Kai? Oh! And my sweet sweet Shen Yei?" she asked.

" oh you've not met Snow, she's the sweetest". I said and we both laughed.

" Yei Kai has become impossible over the years. He's so hard to please and I don't know how to handle him again ". I said sadly.

" Nana had trusted me to look after her kids, but everytime I look at Yei Kai, I feel like I've failed Nana". I added dropping my glass.

" Yei Kai is so obsessed with Summer's promise that it has become a big problem to everyone. Right now, Alfred is on his way to Europe, to bring Blossom to get treatment ". I finished holding my head down and Liu sat up concerned.

" Who's Blossom?" she asked.

" She's a girl we employed 8 years ago to look after Kai and take him where ever he pleases". I said feeling my head throb at those memories.

" Kai treats her really bad and today, she was found unconscious in her room. The Doctors said that there was a lot of Woody fragrance in her system and we all knew that Blossom was allergic to Agarwood ". I finished feeding exhausted.

" How did she get in contact with Agarwood?" She asked frowning.

" Alfred thinks that Kai brought in the substance on purpose "

" Summer is also allergic to Agarwood ", she said after a moment's pause.

" Yeah I know right? Blossom reminds me so much of Summer ". I said with a wry smile.

" Summer Blossom " she said and I looked at her confused.

" Summer Blossom " she repeated staring at me and I became even more confused.

" What is Summer Blossom?" I asked racking my brain to find a clue of what she meant, but nothing happened. Not a single clue.
