Before I could hear the metallic humming of death, I seeked cover behind the rows of air conditioner exhaust. And then it happened, the thundering clicks and clacks like office keyboards during peak hours, my spine felt the erratic fingertips pounding on my back. It was enough to freeze my foot and sweat my ass.  The jet circled around trying to find an advantageous spot to shoot me dead. I however did not still like a duck, I slid below the small space between the exhaust and the ground. Granted the area was hot but compared to earlier, it was better than the convection from the bullets. Now it was like a fly circling around a covered food on the table.
