Celestine got out of the captain’s chair and approached us. She took a pen and started to write something on the box. “What are you doing?” I asked her as I held her hand preventing her from writing. “Well from the looks of it this is McGuffin 47 right?” “Uh… no. This is not a McGuffin.” “I thought all the things you found with this ship are automatically called McGuffins?” Strife asked as he looked around the shelf where the knife was placed. “That’s only part true. By definition McGuffin is an object, device, or event that is necessary to the plot and the motivation of the characters, but insignificant, unimportant, or irrelevant
