CHAPTER ONE

672 Words
I have never been so humiliated in my entire highschool life. I kept checking the looking over and over again just having hopes that I had seen wrong or something but that was totally the opposite. The name stated clearly Makani tutors Glen. Really, me, Glen the most annoying student, silently annoying FYI. "Hey, what's up." Alex my best friend asked as she was busy checking her tutor student. She was better, tutoring Michelle one of the classy girls in school wasn't as bad as me .I couldn't even imagine me being seen with Glen. I was the most popular girl in school. Classy, elegant, beautiful and my grades were tops and I was one of the student chosen to be a tutor and all they could give me was Glen. "I got Glen..." Before I could even finish my statement Alex burst out laughing. This was what I get for tutoring Glen. I knew this was screwing up my chances to be with the quarterback football team captain Dave, who I really had a crush on. "You hoped it was Clain, Dave's friend." Alex said amidst her laughter and this time round I felt like punching her. "Stop laughing this is a serious matter." I said annoyingly. She immediately took the paper from me and checked it again as if confirming my statement to be true. "Girl, you are screwed." "I know Alex." I said half annoyed. We started walking down the hallway heading to our locker. Glen was a psychopath, he was handsome, terribly handsome but so antisocial and he was a loner, always alone wearing dark outfits looking all creepy. Most people never knew his name to make matters more annoying. "What are you going to do?" Alex asked immediately we reached our lockers. Hers was just next to mine. "I don't know just tutor him at a very private place." I said stuffing my books into the locker. "To all students, you all have been allocated tutors and students so it's time to meet them before the school day is over. Meet at the academic hall." The principal's voice penetrated the speakers and that was the most annoying announcement I ever heard. "Time to meet Glen."Alex said laughing out again. The academic hall was filled to brim and I just couldn't find Glen. For crying out loud he should be the one looking for me not the other way round. It was normal for the school to offer chances of tutors and students to help boost the grades of the lower performing students. For the past few years in Asheville Highschool it worked and most of the time I tutored cool people but this time it seemed like the management wanted to suffocate me. After a thorough search for Glen I spotted him sitting at the corner of the hall not even bothering to find me. I moved straight to where he sat this time angry "Hey don't you think you should be the one looking for me?" I questioned angrily. He slowly raises his head to look at me and his deep dark eyes pierced mine. He was still calm and composed not acting bothered. I offered myself a seat next to him and he watched me sit. "I am your tutor so you need to let me know where you would want me to tutor you and at what time." I said abit calmer. He didn't respond. He had this dark air surrounding him and he looked cold. "Hey." I said noticing he hadn't answered for more than a minute. "So you know my name?" He said his voice deep and sweet. "Ofcourse I do." I answered and he looked up to me again then lowered his head. "Computer lab everyday during games time." He answered and stood up and left. This was the first time I observed him, he had a pale skin, dark eyes and black hair. He was totally wierd. This was going to be the longest tuition of my entire highschool life.
