Chapter Six
Inside the castle, Melody wandered the corridors, trying to figure out where to go. Brynn continued to walk with her. Glances towards him eventually became glares and she began to walk faster. He remained at her side.
“You’re lost.”
She came to a stop and faced him, continuing to glare at him. “No one was thoughtful enough to give me a map when I arrived.”
He chuckled. “I dare say that’s because there are no maps.”
She made a sound of frustration that sounded very similar to a growl, before striding down the corridor. She barely managed not to make the sound again when Brynn walked beside her.
“Why haven’t you asked me to show you to where you wish to go?”
