Nicola Santiago needed a job for her sick mother, so she applied as a secretary to Montereal Corporation, but she didn't expect her boss to be rude, he always shouted at her and insulted her, she didn't know why Marcus Montereal was always angry at her, but one day everything changed, his rude and heartless boss suddenly became kind to him, he always smiled everytime their pat's cross, he even also became a caring to her, she was very surprised because that, that's why she couldn't avoid to fall in love with Marcus, But little she didn't know that it was part of Marcus' plan to make her fall in love with him so that he could get revenge on his mother.
PROLOGUE
"W-Why? Marcus ?!" When I asked him a weak question, I still couldn't believe what he did to me.
He just looked at me coldly as if no one had heard
I slapped his chest but he still didn't react
"Answer me Marcus!" I shouted I saw him grinned before he answer me
"You need to pay for what your mother's did" He said and seemed happy to see me crying
"Marcus why me?" Sobbing I asked her
"Do I need to repeat it to you?"
I looked him in the eye and there have no traceable emotions.
"I love you Marcus ..." I saw the emotion in his eyes but it disappeared immediately.
"but why did you do this to me? I thought everything you showed and felt was true but that was just part of your plan! I believe in you!" I said angrily while crying.
"You did your revenge on the wrong person, Marcus, you did!" I said for a long time and I left him speechless.
