Master Janus stared at the healer, surprised as I was. So, what I saw back home was right. That servant did the right thing. I smiled, glad that I could help save a man’s life. For sure, this outweighs the feeling of a winner in a competition.
“This lady over here seems to know something,” the healer continued. “What she did immediately stopped the bleeding and started the clotting. She is smart enough to take out the juice from the flower. This brings out its maximum healing effect. Not everyone knows this technique.”
I bowed my head lower, humbled by the healer’s comment.
“I just did what I saw one of our servants do, sir,” I replied humbly.
“Very well,” Master Janus said as he nodded his head. “Can you show me the flower that you used?”
At this, my head automatically lifted, and
