William’s POV
I rushed towards the healing room when I heard what had happened. I was supposed to head towards the master’s office to continue working on what I was doing when I heard the women talk about what happened to Irene this morning. I was shocked after hearing it. She was just talking to me and discussing things with me last night. We just talked about our lives as we walked towards her room after the meeting. Now, she is in grave danger. What happened to her? Did her late-night sleep cause her this? Did I unnecessarily cause stress on her body for her to react this way?
“Good morning, sir,” I greeted the healer the moment I entered the room.
“Sir William!” he recognized me at one glance but returned his attention to what he was doing before I entered inside and disturbed him.
