***Chapter 10: Club (2)***

That aura from yesterday is still haunting me, I don't know why I felt those chills, but; I knew where they came from, the band. It's my first time feeling that aura. Walking to the club again as I said, I will stop by to practice, and I saw them, Win and Bright, and as usual, they're not flirting but I can say they are, Win is still practicing the guitar with Bright's guidance. "Yo, where's my lunch?" I asked as I sat down on the chair with my I-Pad and opened the chords. "Oh, it's there, it's from the KFC nearby," Said Bright. "Thanks," I said and opened the paper bag. "KFC, mushroom soup, french fries with spicy crispy chicken, sweet," I said smiling at them. "Oh, right, mind if I ask, there will be no performance, event nor competition, yet you're practicing, why?" Asked Win. "It's my parents wedding anniversary next week, we will have a gift for them like the years they've been together, my brothers will play piano and violin, I've no choice but to play the guitar with their third theme song," I answered playing. G and Am, trying to time it with me singing the first verse. "Lift your head, baby, don't be scared,"

"Oh, another event coming up?" I heard Win, but I ignored it since I know he is talking to someone. Tuning the first line of the chorus which is Bb, and the second, and try to sing with it. "What's with her?" Asked someone. "Practicing," Someone answered. My phone ring, Cassius is calling, I answered it and put it in my ear. "Sup?" I asked. "Sia, can you go home for a second, I have some problems with the violin," He said. "Nii-chan, can you just go here, I'm just at the club, and it's been fifteen years since you played that thing while I, just five or seven years, you have more experience than me," I said back. "But you are more genius than me, you can learn one song in just hours while me days," He retorted. "Cause you are just lazy, work your a*s up, you're older," I retorted and hung up.

Minutes later, someone knocked, Bright opened the door and saw Alli there. "Is Zosia here?" Asked by him. "Hey, Sai, Cassius said I will get you, let's go to the resto," He said walking to me. "Let me guess, he is visiting with Caius, sucks to be him, handling five restos," I said and put my guitar and I-Pad on the case. "Almost six actually," Alli corrected me. "Yeah, yeah, c'mon that little kid needs my genius help," I said. "His older," He retorted. "Bright, Win, I need to go, and to others there," I said and leave with Alli. I feel the aura again, it felt weird, I don't know why.

Walking inside of our house with Alli tagging along. "I thought we will go to the resto," I said. "He changed his mind," Alli replied. I saw my brother almost crying, holding his violin. "Zosia, finally you're here, I thought I cannot hear again," He said and hugged the rest of my life. "Can you teach me at least one verse of this song?" He asked. "How 'bout zero?" I asked back. "Aw... Zosia, you're my only hope, you played the song last year with a frigging violin," He said. "The, what is it again? 'Only You'?" I asked for confirmation and he nodded. "Just the thing is, I actually learned it." He then smiled at me. This stupid motherf*cker. "I just need you to sing, since I know if I tell you to sing you'll refuse, so I made a little trap, my little sis," He said smirking, I know I cannot refuse to this since I'm here now, and I know he let someone guard the door, rolling my eyes and sighing, following him to his room with Alli tagging again. "I and Caius had this really beautiful idea made by our big brain. After my presentation, which is the last, we will surprise Mom and Dad with their theme song since Dad's courting her," He explained.

"Caius, she's here," He announced, seeing Caius sitting on a keyboard. It makes me think it is a great Idea, It's Mom and Dad's twenty-fifth anniversary, and it is really special. Hearing the keyboards played by Caius and the violin played by Cassius, sitting down on his sofa, hearing the beautiful rhythm and melody. "It's great, and our class is starting later, Alli, shall we?" I asked and he smiled. "Bye," We farewelled and walk outside, hopping inside of his car. "Sai, when we escaped, are you all behind those?" He asked. "What escaped?" I asked back. "k********g," He answered. "Truth to be told, I am, it was actually a deal I sealed with their boss, I swapped his and my water, I smelled my water and it smelled weird than his, so I swapped it, and it has poison like I thought, I deal that if I die, he will let you out in that place and you will not say even a word, and if not, I will haunt him, and if he die, I will get my phone," I explained. "That's my little detective," he said, ruffling my hair.

"Hey, Bright, Win, I'm back," I announced my arrival, and they smiled. "Zosia, can we come at your parents' wedding anniversary?" Asked by Win, I smiled at him and nodded. "I'll give you the invitation next week, don't be late kay?" I told them while taking the guitar from its case. "Bright, I heard you played this song last year in 2U, mind if you help me?" I asked. "As the Club's president, I will," He said and I know he is frowning and mumbling curses cause I separated them both. "I have to, you two're so clingy with each other makes me wanna puke and cringe," I said and they chuckled. "Mind if I ask, Win, the cheerleading competition is around the corner, how's practice?" I asked. "Fine, we will have a practice later, but Frank's been in the hospital for a week and I'm pretty worried for him," He said. Frank, Bright's younger brother, he's in Win's club, the cheerleading club, and he's still in the hospital cause of some injury in his leg, and the weird thing is Preston's not been in the field for a week also, he's a soccer player.

"And Preston's not playing for a week according to Noah and Jonathan," Said Bright being suspicious, Noah and Jonathan, Bright's best friends, and they're pretty cool. "Start with the first verse, G and Am then we will try to sing with it," He instructed, and I tried. "We're back guys!" We heard someone screamed. "Sucks to perform next week," Said someone. "Good, now sing," Bright instructed again. "Lift your head, baby, don't be scared, of the things that could go along the way, you'll get by, with a smile, you can't win at everything but you can try," I sing. "Great, now the chorus," He instructed. "Sucks to perform at an anniversary," Said by him. "There are hundreds of people hearing me sing at that event," I said as I tune the chord Bb. "Then Eb then Bb, then so on in every line, but D on the 'anyway'," He instructed  and I tried it. "Baby, you don't have to worry, coz there ain't no need to hurry, no one ever said there's an easy way, when they're closing all their doors, and they don't want you anymore, this sounds funny but I'll say it anyway," I sing again. "Great," He praised and run to his beloved Win.

"Find a room, I'm still a precious kid!" I yelled. "As if we will!" Bright yelled back and I heard a smacking sound. "Hello again for another vlog! We are in the music club again with Hexter here." I heard someone as the door opened, I saw Hexter and Philip shooting for their vlog again. "Oh, there Bright, Win and also Zosia, wait Zosia?" Philip looked back at me cause of his sudden confusion, I wave at them and smiled. "Why're you here?" He asked me. "Asking for Bright's help, and it would be worth it if Win helps me sing," I answered. "C'mon I'll help," Win said and walked to me. "I need to separate them for a moment, they won't make a room that makes me wanna puke," I explained as Win holds my guitar and tune a chord. "Wrong!" Yelled Bright. "Don't come closer!" I yelled at him.

"Fine," Bright said, slouching and pouting on the sofa. "Bright, we need a bassist, again." Someone said walking inside the door without announcing of his arrival. "Where's Oajun for the past few days?" Asked Win, ready to nag and complain if he saw him. Wait Oajun? I looked at the door and saw the band again. "He's in the library again," Answered Singto. "Sia, wait here," Win said and stood up. "It's the library, Win, he might be studying," I said to calm him. "When did that jerk study?" Asked Faydon, clearly annoyed that their bassist's not practicing. "Might changed his mind and became mature," I answered and turned my attention on my guitar. "Zosia, you know how to play bass since you were ten, right? Then help them a little," Win said. I regret saying why music's my first love. "Just one song," I said and stood up getting the bass. Some other new members of the club came in and have guitars and other instruments with them, might ask some other members how to play a little.

"The tabs," I asked for the tabs, and they gave it to me, I looked at it and I know what song it is just by a look, I wear my earphones and play the song with the band's timing.

I flinched when suddenly Faydon pop out at my vision. He said something but I can't hear him cause of the song playing in my earphones; I paused it and took it off; I look at him confused, and he gets the hint. "I was saying you were wonderful! And how d'you keep our timing just by looking at the tabs?" He asked. "By... listening to the original singer," I answered, and he nodded. "I'm here," Someone said lazily, I looked at the door and I think God listens and grant their prayers, Oajun was at the door slouching as he put his bag at the corner and walked to me. "Bass... Wait, Sherlock?" He asked for confirmation. "Excuse me?" I looked at him, slightly confused. "What are you doing here?" He asked back. "Playing?" I answered life 'can't you see?'. "I'm the bassist, give me that and sit," He commanded. I just gave the bass to him and walked back to Win fuming with anger, ready to nag him.
