***Chapter 9: The Unknown Club***

Walking through the hallway with my guitar case on my back and soon walked inside the club. Seeing a lot of new members here in the clubroom and sat where there is no one. "Zosia, what song are you going to play?" I looked at the person asking me and it was Win, smiling at him, and opened my case. "Fools by Troye Sivan," I answered as I get my guitar. "Fits you, Zosia," Said Bright, the president of the club, placing his arm around Win's shoulders. "How's your relationship?" I asked. "Excuse me?" Bright asked for pardon. "I asked if your relationship is okay," I repeated. "It's fine, Zosia, and how did you know?" Asked Win. "There are no friends look each other like that, and I saw a hand cream on Bright's bag with the same smell as your hands, it can't be that you asked to lend you some, as I knew, Bright doesn't put something like that on his hands, am I correct?" I asked. "You two had a relationship, you two are cute, I am not against since my cousin is also gay,"

They smiled at me. "I will always buy you lunch, just ask us as your senior and officer here," Bright said. "How 'bout tomorrow, I will stop by here to practice," I said, and they nodded as the activity started by the former president but still active in the club, Hexter, He's the drummer here before and his secretary, Ina, but Ina has works so she couldn't find more time here.

"Let's get this get together and start!" Hexter shouted as his boyfriend films for their YouTube channel, Philip, his boyfriend, they're super cute, even though they sometimes fight. 'Loving You' Played and composed by 690 Space Net, Bright's band was performing, and we were there listening and watching our senior's band singing and playing.

"This is what we're waiting for, The Unknown Band!" Hearing the claps, whistle and shouts, while me in the corner not even paying attention and still watching something on YouTube, the things, I love, solving some case on a video again.

"Hey, Zosia, you need to find someone who you can be in a band," Said Win, he just looked at me worriedly as he knew I don't enjoy socializing too much, means I don't know anyone here except the elders like other new here, knows someone. "How 'bout I will recommend you to a group?" He asked, and I nodded. He walked away as he goes to every group while I was at the corner crouching like an introvert.

"... she's shy, she's in another club also so she's scheduled," I heard Win walking to me so I looked at him and he smiled. "Hey, Zosia, here they are. Take care of her, I'll be with Bright there if something happened." He then helps his boyfriend with the things. "Hi, I'm Lalayne, this is Heltor, Kavis and Quasim, we need a drummer, fine with you?" She asked, and I nodded. "The song might be tough, you okay?" she asked again, and I nodded.

"The song will be '7 Rings' by Ariana Grande," She said, and I took out my phone to try the drums. "Is it fine?" I asked, and she smiled widely. "It's good, stick with that," Heltor said, and I nodded. "Let's work this up." And they took out their instruments while I stayed with the drums on my phone. "Great timing, I think we're all set up." She smiled at me.

"Mind asking, Zosia, Win said you're also on another club, what club is it?" Kavis asked. "The Volleyball Club," I answered. "Cool, so you can go to tournaments or something?" Asked Quasim. "I just join if they need to, I'm also in this club so I'm scheduled." I then look around to find Win. After I saw them, my face got serious. They were flirting at the corner.

"Let's start the performances, who wants to be first?" Asked Hexter at the little stage. "Okay, that group." Hexter pointed and the group of guys got up on stage. "Hello, we're the Moonarc, we hope you'll enjoy our performance," The guy said. They were fine, just that. The guy had a cough, his voice cracked and I think it was the phlegm since he is silently coughing and clearing his throat.

"Thank you," Hexter said as the previous group sat down near us. I walked to their vocalist and gave him lozenges candy for itchy throat, confusion painted on his face. "You had an itchy throat from your phlegm, take it before it's too late," I said and walked away. "Okay, you're next," i heard Hexter said, and it was us.

"Hey, we are the Startanium, I hope you will like our performance," Laylane said. Sitting at the chair, I saw a bag of drumstick there since I smash it until it's broken sometimes.

"Thank you, and applause for them please," Hexter said as the other members applaud. "And it smashed my drumstick, thank you Zosia," Said Hexter again. "Welcome, Hexter," I replied. As the other members laughed, the other performances continued on. And I'm in the corner again, Win sitting beside to keep me company.

"May I ask, Zosia, you are intelligent, that's why you're a medical student, but why are you joining this club? And in that big mind of yours, you can be the next Sherlock Holmes by judging how you observe. But why this club?" Asked Win beside me. "Win, did you know? I love investigating, since I was a child, my grandma reads me detective stories and I will deduce it and solve it, but music is my first love, I was great at keyboard when I was five, learned how to play a guitar when I was eight and the electric and bass when I was ten, I know how to remix and make versions when I was twelve," I answered. "I'm just a medical student since I saw my mother and any other doctors saving a person, and I wanted to know what it feels when you save someone, so I asked my mom our family hospital,"

"That's why, what about Volleyball?" He asked again. "I played since I was twelve, I practiced and when I was in highschool, I'm an opposite position, it feels better when the ball touches my hands and arms," I answered smiling. "Is that so, do you fall in love with someone?" Asked by him again that made me flinched. "Honestly, I have, but, he left me when we were thirteen years old causes of some events, he promised me he will come back, and he did, I gave up my feelings, I know he just see me as his friend or a sister, not someone he can flirt and fall in love with," I answered again.

"Let's start the games for tonight's guest, the legendary bassist, Jake Patterson!" "Good evening, I'm Jake Patterson, I'm in a band called 'Unsightly Yellow' and I think you know that band, I hope we will have a good evening full of fun," He introduces and the members applaud. "I heard you were playing going to play, so, first game 'Pepero Game'!" He cried as we all applaud and I was just go with the flow.

"The first as we know, the club's couple, HexPhi!" Cried by him again. The couple walked to the centre as Hexter get cookies and cream flavoured pepero. "Oh, Hexter to move," Said Jake as the couple played. "Oh, oh, oh! None left even a bit!" He shouted.

"Next couple, oh, how 'bout Bright and Kate?" He asked that many of the members said yes. I looked at Win worried, he just smiled and walked to me. "Don't worry, Bright, don't kiss anyone except me, and Kate likes ladies and not gentleman," He said and put his hand on my back and he hung it on my shoulder. We watched the two plays and left a two inches of the pepero. "I told you," He said and smiled. "Win, c'mere," Bright ran to us and hugged his beloved Win, I saw a guy following him, Jake Patterson.

"Hello, Win, I'm Jake Patterson, I assume you're the secretary of Bright," He introduced himself and shake hands with him and his eyes landed on me. "And this is...?" He asked. "Zosia, Zosia Yamamoto," I introduced and shake hands with him. "Yamamoto, are you the daughter of Akio Yamamoto?" He asked, and I nodded. "It's a pleasure to meet the only daughter of the owner of Yamamoto Companies. They sponsored me before," He said and smiled. "I've met your brothers and you're the only one I've never met before, I assumed you're busy studying,"

"Yeah, I assumed you're almost late from your photoshoot, sir Jake," I said that made him smile widely. "Yeah, how d'you know?" He asked. "How 'bout we play pepero, fine with you?" He asked and didn't wait for my answer as he raised his hand and Philip nodded. He took my hand, and he ran to the side with me following.

"We've got a volunteer, Jake, who d'you want to play with?" Asked by Hexter being the MC of the get together event. "How bout a new friend of mine, Zosia," He recommended. But I don't consider him as my friend, just acquaintance, we just know each other. "C'mon Sia, this is my revenge for wrecking my drumstick earlier," Hexter said as he drags me to the centre with Jake standing there.

"So, this is the round two after those two, they left an inch of the pepero, you need to exceed that to win, am I clear?" He asked, and we nodded. "Don't worry, I'll move, we will not kiss, just chill," He whispered enough for me to hear. As he said I chilled down from nervousness and bit the pepero while he moved little by little, I can sense someone pinning his- no their eyes on me, it's not like those audiences watching us, I felt a weird aura.

I closed my eyes, feeling uncomfortable. Mine and Jake's lips are just a centimetre away, just like he said, we will not kiss. "I told 'ya," He said as the two of us announced as winners, I smiled at him and make way for the other candidates, but I can still feel those eyes, I looked at them and saw The Unknown Service pinning their eyes on us.

"Thanks, Jake, it's a pleasure to meet you, see you soon and let's keep in touch," I said as I heard his engine roaring and smiled. I walked inside as I go down to my hideout and put my guitar there and sit at my swivel chair. Why do those jerks pinned their eyes on me like that? And that aura, I just imagined that, right? But it sent chills. That aura feels like jealousy, frustration and anger. Why?
