Reign was in a very good mood when she arrived at Sutton Technologies the next day. It was the happiness of a married woman who had awakened to find her husband preparing breakfast for her. In Dashiell’s defence, the staff didn’t come to the house on Tuesdays, so he usually made his own food. This surprised Reign because she hadn’t pictured him as a man who could find his way around the kitchen. To her utmost surprise, he was even better than she had imagined. His food was filling, delicious, and satisfying, and she couldn’t resist packing some of it as a side for lunch.
